I’ve been bringing Oysters and fresh fish to the city for all to enjoy for over 15 years known for opening Toronto restaurants Starfish Oyster Bed & Grill (2001-2014) and Pearl Diver (2014-).
I’ve been an east-ender all my life, and my family has lived in the area for several generations.
I am a World Champion Oyster Shucker, hold the Guinness World Record for the most oysters shucked in 1 minute (39), most in 1 hour (1114) and author of a book on oysters, entitled “Consider the Oyster – A Shucker’s Field Guide” but I’ve always wanted to run a little “Irish Local”.
