All Canadian Oyster Eating Championship 2010
Thursday, July 29th
This is the second annual contest, and we will have last year's champion, Linda Li challenge all who want to compete. You have to be willing and able to eat 150 oysters or more in 3 minutes to compete according to the Rules of the World Championships in Hillsborough, Ireland. If you think you've got what it takes to eat your way to Ireland, join us at The Ceili Cottage, Thursday, July 29th. Registration is from 5-7pm, and is limited to only nine applicants, on a first come basis. The contest will be in several heats, one attempt at eating as many oyster as you can in 3 minutes. Linda ate 148 oysters to win the Canadian Championship, and 158 to come in Second in The World 2009.
